Boht 40: Shinchan

That's right, we got to Chiang Mai to pure Shinchanear or loose as they say. Chiang Mai is northern Thailand and is the pride of them. Furthermore it is focused 100% traditional and nontraditional tourism.
As part of the traditional tourism is all that would be the trekings, rafting, elephant rides, go see senhoras tribes with neck stretching with rings. At first we were going to make a trek that included all that in one day (do not know how they succeeded, maybe up the elephant senhora rafts or long neck above the elephant or both), but in the end decide to change our trip and we will go through Laos. And it seems that Laos is better for all that is ecotourism stew.

This was not a bad decision because we had nine full days in Chiang Mai and how lucky we are we just played a festival called Loi Kratong. The Loi Krathong is a festival celebrated for 12eava anho full moon and lasts for about 3 days. People go to the river and throw offerings as we throw in the Ganges, is also part of the tradition of giant balloons with candles pull down on the balloons have to write some hope that one wants to be met. It's amazing because the sky is filled with balloons, and it lasts all the time and for 3 days. We print 2 balloons and the first to throw nearly succeed but I did not, watch the following video.

There are also many fireworks. The idea is that each purchase fireworks in the street, from the innocent spark to grenades (were some giant firecrackers were thrown into the river and exploded pinned under the water). The picture was a delight to Coaniquem or staff Sotero del Rio, hordes of people throwing fireworks at each other. In the following video in which Don Graf personifies Meche can see a Thai boy with the burned face.

Anyway fun was all hyper, was equivalent to anho again but for 3 days! Uff. One day we took 2 each and tails were left with a hell Canha (compare Chapter 5, and 7 months ago), luckily it was the last day of the festival. ALARM

also one day we rented a motorbike and went to go around, we went to Wat Doi Suthep which is uphill and we seemed like a couple of idiots up the hill on a mini scooter . Top of the hill had a complex of temples and a gazebo, all very nice, also a Buddhist monk gave his blessing at a ceremony far more serious than those for the Indians in Pushkar.

Anyway, we traveled a lot on all sides. We made a very bacan cooking course and learned to make Pad Thai, which is delicious and cheap. Renew our stock of books and we had already sold the finished. And we saw giant gongs. (Put the subwoofer to the whole pig to collect the mega gong)

also tested delicious food, as these camaronsazos.

and also sold fried bugs, but not tested because we are against abuse of insects.

Now, back to the traditional tourism and nontraditional ... Non-traditional tourism is based on the world's oldest profession and what we have seen there is a high likelihood that the profession was invented here. From the first day we realized it was full of tourists with "girlfriends" Thai, we were thinking: "Incredible ability to share with the villagers" or "sociable which is the German gentleman." After we saw that all the restaurants were full of "girlfriends" that greeted tourists. In fact much of the tourism industry in Chiang Mai moves thanks to these ladies of the night or hookers, and that the innocent tourists once more fell not release him. The girls walk to their customers in all markets of Chiang Mai and take all the restaurants and temples, being pear with the best jewelry and lunch.

That would, manhana we start to Siem Reap in Cambodia, we will see Ankor which is one of the important milestones since we had planned the trip.

We stayed a total of 3 weeks in Koh Lanta. What good is that after writing the last blog the weather improved and we had sun all day. The daily routine was exhausting, somewhat different to that if we wore when we were in Chile for 1 agno working. In the Magnana drank delicious American breakfast, we went to the beach after a bath and read paradise. Thai food we had lunch after a slight rest in the hotel room and dodging the direct sun. In the afternoon we returned to the beach and at night they ate (usually non-Thai) and drank a beer or a cocktail on the terrace or in a bar.

To escape the routine arrendabamos a small motorcycle and we were going to visit other beaches on the island. Our favorite beach was Bantiang Bay, very delicious. The second time we went we were at that beach and searched llendonos they were filming a movie next to our bike. One type of production we asked if we could wait a while because our bike had been on every shot. So wait no more. At first we thought it was a local soap opera, but after was more caches that produced the thing. The cameras and lighting were very produced and Gael Garcia also was that of Amores Perros. We welcome and try to talk a while but we fished for nothing, and that he talked en anglais ...
In short, Meche will take a picture with him and serious. In any case it is the most famous with what we've found throughout the trip.

went to dive again and this time I was with so little sun bacan. The most likely let's go back to Ko Lanta before leaving Thailand. After Ko Lanta
parimos north. We went to Bangkok and from there take another bus to Ayuthaya Altira. Just now beginning to see Thailand, there is much Buddha and many temples and ruins. Okay choriflai. Besides the xasi pichoneo there is very nice here and walk everywhere without being young.

In Ayuthaya rented a bike and walk around various temples, we went to one where there was a golden Buddha as 15 feet, incredible. We also made a boat trip and saw other attractions. The last attraction was a night market where there was rich and delicious food and cheap clothing. The only problem is that it was full of mosquitoes that stood on clothing then we end up with handfuls of chopped.
From there we went further north to Phitsanulok and Sukhothai. The 2 cities are very choras and hardly speaks English, but zero problem. In Sukhothai, which is the patrimony of humanity, we saw a huge Buddha that was what we liked best.

From here depart for Chiang Mai, which is farther north.

A, and because the episode is called Futurama? Well, it turns out that this chapter we wrote 543 anhos in the future. Here in Thailand are in the anho 2550. The truth is that to take advantage anhos 543 have advanced so far, robots are not in the street or people with iPhones, is rather similar to Chile but cheap, if. Here are

a videito we could climb. Enjoy

บท (Boht) 38: Luxury Asian

The estate began in the plane, the food was delicious and treated us very well. After we arrived at Bangkok airport and had to wait like 5 hours to take the plane to Krabi (south). The wait was not bad at all because the airport was like something out of Blade Runner, hyper-futuristic, full of shops and restaurants, pharmacies, chocolates, libraries, etc.. It was like being in New York.

Finally, we arrived at Krabi and let us chicks to book a hotel in Koh Lanta for 3 days as it was low season there was no problem.
It took us 3 hours to get to Koh Lanta (bacan is an island.) And the hotel was steak, a few meters from the beach and ISO 4,000,000, all for a nominal fee.
The climate has been with us a lot (mainly the sun), but in general it's hot.
Then, as the high season began we moved to another hotel but charcha, which cost 6 lucas night (air conditioning, cable TV, pool, beach).

took advantage of the savings to make a diving course. We
the PADI Open Water course is the first to dive, our teacher was an Australian named Lou (clone of the Caco). We had to study a huge tomes and do some tests Theoretically, after we got to the pool with team and all (2 days), the other day we went diving and Koh Haa Koh Bida (outside the beach side of Di Caprio). To say that diving is amazing and we saw many things, including a leopard shark.

course
After that we went into the Advanced Open Water, which is more of the same but diving deeper and more technical. We went to Hin Daeng and Hin Muang was incredible dive to 28.7 meters, but do not feel nitrogen narcosis, which is apparently very nice and zero harmful to the body, except that you can forget seeing how much air you have left, or breathing.

We were about to leave on the second dive when we suddenly saw a plane go swimming, it was a manta ray in about 4 feet wide, step next door to us and stayed hovering, obviously everybody neglect of the protocols to see the manta ray. It was amazing and beautiful, with so much emotion to Meche almost ran out the air and we had to climb, but we saw it from above with a snorkel. We also saw turtles, octopuses, eels, etc.

Something like what we saw, this photo is not of us, but i made a video instructor that when we put it.

We also made Thai cooking class, because the food here is delicious and if you clean, and eat beef, pork, shrimp, etc. So we have recovered all the proteins and important things for health.

charcha In the hotel, called the Blue Andaman, they treated us very bad. Made us change our room because tourists arrived with reservations and did not comply with anything. So when we finished the dive course literally gave us a luxury and we went to a hotel called, Mook Lanta Boutique Resort and Spa Luxury. It is very cheap and spoiled us constantly, the piece is a suenho and is bacan banho. You're in a beach paradise and the weather is improving. We are enjoying

as pigs so can be envious as you read this, at some mini recreation of his work. A, and we will stay maybe a week more. Obviously, Vietnam and Laos and are 100% ruled out, living the beach, live di caprio.

Birthday Wishes To A Boss

Chapter 37: The Taj Mahal is impressive

After 1 ½ months in India at last we arrived at the Taj Mahal. It was not easy, we had to take another overnight bus (but this was a place and a half), the bus met an English couple who were suffering all the way, the English cry all night. We arrived in Agra and went to the hostel to rest all that day because, besides the Taj Mahal was closed. So the only thing we did was go to the post to send some letters and eat dosas (pancakes of southern India). Agra is not so much swing the next day we set out early (11:30 AM) to stand in line to enter the famous monument. The queue was so long that he had sub business related, as senhores that brought you "sneak" a little money. Full queue we actually were 2 queues one for boys and another for Ninh. Due to the high coordination Indian style Meche entered 10 minutes after I, PAF.
The expectations we had for the sky so we were worried disappoint, but did not. The Taj Mahal is in two words, im hustling, surpassed all that we imagine. We must see to believe.

We

another queue, but longer, to enter the Taj Mahal itself. And on the inside did not have much shine. We walked a while in the other monuments that have overshadowed the complex. And one had a meter of air pollution. Which read as follows:
- SO2: Standard: 5, measuring 3
- CO: Standard: 10, measuring 7
- Particulate Matter: Standard 100, measurement: 594 REPAF PAF in Santiago when we are hyper-alert should be 350 MP. Obviously here there is no restriction to the non-catalytic ... After that we
to see Agra and India, the next day we left for Delhi and from there straight to the airport, where they let us in because we arrived 8 hours before he left the plane (and we wanted to pure go), we had to wait in a Restorante. After not wanted us to our boarding passes were bounced because the computer code, thankfully relented and we got on the plane.

Before closing this chapter, here is the video graphic what is the train in Mumbai. Thanks to our correspondent in London, Oscar Montoya.

So ended 1 ½ months in India. We loved but sometimes hate. Recommended 100% but never come for a honeymoon. And bring the wonderful antibiotics. Leaving the land of Dhalsim and where ISO 9000 is a utopia for directed to Thailand. Hopefully we like ...

Chao, Namaste

PD: indeed we are already in Thailand and is the best in the world.
